Special Board of Education Meeting

The Moon Area Board of Education held a special meeting on December 14, 2016, at 5:30 p.m. in the High School Board Meeting Room, called to order by the president. Seven directors were present, with a board member joining via conference call, while one director was absent. A representative sat at the board table, and two administrators attended.

The sole substantive business concerned personnel. A motion was made and seconded to approve rescinding the conditional offer of employment previously made on December 5, 2016, to an employee. All directors voted in favor on a roll call vote.

With no other agenda items, a director moved to adjourn the meeting, seconded by another director, and the board approved the motion by voice vote at 5:36 p.m. The minutes were submitted by the Clerk of the Board of Education and the Secretary of the Board of Education.
