Special Board of Education Meeting

The Moon Area Board of Education held a special meeting on December 8, 2023, at 7:30 a.m., called to order by the president. Present were the president, and 8 directors who attended via conference call. In attendance were 3 employees, with one person in the audience.

The board conducted its business under the personnel agenda. A motion was made by a director and seconded by a director to approve the items listed. The board approved the coaching staff for the 2023-2024 school year, pending receipt and review of clearances, per the recommendation of an employee. The approved coaches were for gymnastics: an assistant coach and 5 volunteer coaches. All directors voted in favor on a roll call vote.

The board then adjourned the meeting at 7:35 a.m. A motion to adjourn was made by a director and seconded by a director, with all directors voting in favor on a voice vote.
