Board of Education Meeting - Reorganization Meeting

The Moon Area Board of Education held its reorganization meeting on December 2, 2025, at 7:10 p.m., called to order by the Vice President. Directors present were the Vice President, two other directors, and two other directors, with a doctor, a resident, and a solicitor also attending.

The board administered the Oath of Office to four newly elected directors.

On a voice vote, the board closed nominations and appointed the Vice President as Temporary President. For the one-year Board President position, a director moved to nominate a director, seconded by a director; after the director moved to close nominations, a roll call vote unanimously elected the director as Board President. For the one-year Vice President role, a director moved to nominate one of the newly elected directors, seconded by the Board President; after a director moved to close nominations, a roll call vote unanimously selected the newly elected director as Vice President.

The board adjourned at 7:17 p.m. on a motion by a director, seconded by the Vice President. The minutes were submitted by the Clerk and the Secretary.

The meeting produced no budgetary decisions, purchases, program approvals, or personnel appointments beyond the elected officers. The board's actions were limited to the swearing-in of new directors and the election of its president and vice president for the coming year.
